Top 10 Bible Wall Art Shops

Top 10 Bible Wall Art Shops

The holiday and Christmas season is almost upon us which means there will be a rush of people searching for that perfect meaningful gift. Many of us also know of friends and family with birthdays in October, November, and December.

So, what’s a unique modern gift you can get for your Christian friend or family member who already has every popular book, every famous Bible study devotional, or funny Christian shirt? A growing niche in the religious home category is “Biblical Wall Art.”

And no I’m not talking about the age old “Live. Laugh. Love” or “Faith. Family. Friends” wood box every basic family has set on their mantle. Thankfully, artists have taken their hand at competing with big box retailers like Hobby Lobby and Wal-Mart by creating higher quality wall art that points people to God. Therefore, this list will focus on shops and artists who have demonstrated there is a way to “sanctify” the walls and living spaces of the modern Christian home.

Christian Wall Art Gift Ideas

The great thing about prints based on scripture is that there is a wide range of styles to choose from. And because the space is growing on sites such as Etsy, you are sure to find something you haven’t seen before—more importantly, something your special someone (giftee) hasn’t seen before but will certainly fall in love with!

So, where do you start looking? Well, we compiled 10 of the best online shops to help you track down that perfect Biblical home decor art piece. Bible wall art is just the right gift!

1. BibleSketches

In a most unbiased fashion *wink wink* I must highlight the Bible Art shop known as BibleSketches. This shop slowly became famous on Etsy and Instagram over the past five years as the artist focused specifically on—you guessed it—sketching, or drawing, stories from the Bible in a minimalist modern style. The Etsy shop only sells digital prints, so you will need to print on your own (DIY) but you can easily find frames on Amazon or your local thrift shop. With prints ranging from $5 - $15, it’s an affordable modern option that allows your giftee to decorate their home with someone meaningful and faith-filled.

If you would rather send a physical product/print to someone, check out the BibleSketches Shopify store where they sell Posters, Canvases, Framed Prints, and Apparel!

Okay, enough tooting my own horn. Without further adieu, here’s the rest of the list of Bible Wall Art shops that I am honored to work alongside as each shop brings their own flavor into this awesome niche of Christ honoring artwork. These are ranked in order of my favorite shops; things I took into account were the reviews, the style, the uniqueness, and the artistic ability.

2. Selah Print Studio

Katie is a stunning artist out of Washington state. Her shop aims to bring peace (Selah) into your home and she accomplishes this through a collection of pieces that are simply beautiful. Her modern aesthetic is highlighted throughout all of her elegant prints. I can’t think of a style home that her collection wouldn’t work in. What I’m saying is, “You can’t go wrong!” Katie has proven she understands color and how to achieve a soft pleasant feel in her many designs that point people to God. Selah Print Studio offers digital and physical prints.

3. Rooted + Grounded Home

Blake McDaniel creates lovely wooden framed art with a solid team of artisans. She writes, “This business was birthed out of a desire to make home decor that was inspirational and would remind me of Truth.” The artwork features inspirational quotes, scripture, beautiful greenery, landscapes, and even some mid-century/modern art. The handcrafted wood-framed prints will certainly show your loved one how much you appreciate them. This shop is a wonderful option to find a high quality gift made with skill and care, all with an aim to glorify God in your home. They also do custom images if you want to send them a favorite photo! And did I mention they have over 26,000 five-star reviews?!

4. Little Moses Print

This shop is run by Chloe, in her own words, “In my shop, you'll find a variety of handmade art pieces, from simple typography art to illustrations, each reflecting a piece of my creative journey. By supporting my shop, you're not just buying art – you're helping a mom chase her dreams and build a better future for her family.” Chloe demonstrates exceptional ability in her many art prints. She has created hundreds of pieces consisting of drawings of Bible stories, floral prints, and Bible word art all priced in that perfect $5 - $15 range (She does have some bundles for much a higher price - but still great value!) I love her style of drawing and let’s be real, “Little Moses Print” is the best shop name on this list.

5. The Journey of Books

In Meghan’s words her shop is centered around, “Children's Literary and Christian Art Printables.” From Jane Austen to Winnie-the-Pooh to vivid Christian wall art, Meghan clearly has an artistic gift. It won’t surprise you to learn she currently lives in North East England. Regarding her process she notes, “When I create my designs, I’m striving to bring hope, peace and virtue to your home. I pray that’s obvious when you see them. The last thing I want to be is more noise in this disordered world.” I would define her prints as exuding character and substance, qualities all of our homes could use more of.

6. Lemon Soda Design

Yujin is a gifted graphic designer and artist out of Los Angeles, California. Her Christian artwork is mid-century modern with a range of drawings, watercolors, poster-themed, and educational prints. Lemon Soda Design offers over 1000 prints which is totally impressive. Be sure to browse this Christian wall art store and see all the effort Yujin has put in over the years.

7. Made Seen

Joy is an artist out of Arlington, Texas. Her colorful style will surely light up any home as she aims to “bring light to the world by providing refreshing and purposeful wall art.” Named after Romans 1:20 and Hebrews 11:3, Joy writes that, “Made Seen is faith inspired, focusing on making God's invisible attributes visually seen.” All of her art will surely bring a smile to your face and create discussion in your home.

8. Abiding Press Co

Ran by Katie Q. in Brisbane, Australia, Abiding Press Co sells minimalist eye-catching scriptural word art. This artist clearly has a good taste in fonts and an understanding of graphically pleasing presentation. You can find many verses from the Psalms, Proverbs, the New Testament, and she even has a section on her store for a kids room. This Etsy shop will be sure to have something perfect if you know the right verse for someone! Katie also has her own website here.

9. Printable the Truth

Printable the Truth is owned by Devi Tifany and her style seems to be a mixture of minimal and boho. Her Bible prints showcase some of the most notable Bible stories and in my opinion would work well as a centerpiece in a home, whether living or dining space. She does a great job using mockups to let her customers envision how her art fits in key living spaces. Her modern version of the Last Supper (Blue) is remarkable.

10. God's Fingerprints

God’s Fingerprints is a husband-and-wife team that mainly releases water-color artwork meant to inspire. They are probably most known for their jaw-dropping “God’s Fingerprint Letterpress” piece. This particular design features handwritten verses from each book of the Bible and will certainly be the cause for conversation.

Christian Digital Prints

Though some shops above offer physical products (like BibleSketches, God's Fingerprints, and Rooted+Grounded Home), a lot of them are shops on Etsy that offer Biblical Digital Prints. Some might ask, "What are digital prints?"

The digital print space is rapidly growing on Etsy because of the ease of the transaction. The Christian artist will make a piece, scan it into the computer, make it into a JPEG file or PDF file, and sell that file to the customer at a price cheaper than a physical product. This makes the art more affordable, which some prefer as the DIY (Do it yourself) crowd is also growing.

Some people prefer getting to print on their own or send it to a website like Staples or Mpix to have it printed for them, and some even enjoy taking a quick trip to their local print shop and making an outing of it--grabbing a coffee on the way! Additionally, customers find frames at thrift stores, have frames left over, or shop around for the perfect look for their home.

"What if I have never bought a digital print, should I try it? How would I figure the process out?"

Yes you should! It's super easy and shops will provide thorough instructions to help you. For our Digital Print collection we provide a PDF FAQ page with every order that guides you through the process--and over 75,000 customers of ours have printed successfully! You can too! Here are some tips below:

What type of paper should I print on, and where should I print?

  • We recommend firm bright what cardstock. Color results will vary greatly based on the ink, printer quality, printer settings, humidity, etc. We recommend first trying to print the CMYK color variations of the artwork over the RGB versions, but RGB will sometimes be the only option for websites, in that case RGB will do just fine.
  • RGB and CMYK only apply to JPEG print files (which is what we offer), but if you buy a PDF print file from a different Bible art store, you can ignore the RGB and CMYK stuff above.
  • As far as where to print the options are endless! Customers have printed through Mixtiles, SimplyFramed, Mpix, Shutterfly, local print shops, etc. However, most customers have had the best results printing through either Staples or Walmart using the “poster” format.
  • On the Staples website go to: Print & Marketing/All Products/Posters-and then fill out the correct size, orientation, and material paper choice (we recommend choosing the Standard or Super Heavyweight Matte. Then upload the CMYK file of the correct size.

Digital Prints are a cost-effective option to enjoy Christian artwork in your home, or make a unique gift for someone. Right now digital prints are taking over the Christian art world! So look through the Top 10 shops listed above and support a small Christian business this Christmas seasons; you'll be sure to find an awesome gift for your special friend or family member!

And don't forget, some of the above shops do offer physical wall art prints that can be shipped directly to you -- if you aren't in a DIY mood.

Know the Copyright Policies

The artists above, including myself, take great precaution against people stealing and reselling our digital art products. Therefore, be sure to read artists' copyright policies very closely before purchasing. Shops consider digital prints as one print for one customer -- they cannot be shared or emailed around to friends and family, that would be stealing and it would hurt our small businesses.

Artists offer digital prints to try and keep the price low for those that cannot afford, or do not want, a physical product. Therefore, please respect the time, effort, and property of those artists who work very hard to make unique Christian wall art.

If you would like an example of a copyright policy, you can view my own right here: BibleSketches copyright policy.

Conclusion

There are many great shops here to choose from but I recommend browsing through each one to find the style that suits you best--or suits your potential giftee best! And as always check out the collection we have available at BibleSketches. Not only do we have plenty of Christian Wall Art, but we have Christian apparel too.

Have fun browsing!
